Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad has issued a recruitment notification inviting applications for various technical, allied, administrative, and support service positions on a contract basis. The recruitment is intended for deployment at the Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS), Sanath Nagar.
According to the notification dated June 22, 2026, the appointments are temporary and meant as an interim arrangement until regular recruitment is completed. The notification states that eligible candidates from Telangana can apply for the contractual positions sanctioned under the relevant government orders.
The technical category accounts for the largest number of vacancies, with a total of 98 posts announced. Among these, Lab Technician Grade-II positions account for 34 vacancies, making it the largest category. Anaesthesia Technician posts total 20 vacancies, while X-Ray/C-Arm Technician Grade-II positions number 10.
Other technical positions include Blood Bank Technician Grade-II, CT Technician Grade-II, MRI Technician, ECG Technician, CSSD Technician, Audiometry Technician, Audio Visual Technician, EEG Technician Grade-II, Cath Lab Technician, and Biomedical Technician.The notification also includes 24 administrative vacancies.
Administrative positions include Assistant Public Relations Officer, Medical Record Officer (Junior), Statistician, Deputy Registrar, Deputy Financial Controller, Assistant Registrar, Assistant Financial Controller, Senior Assistant, Accounts Officer, Accountant, Supervisor, and Health Inspector. Senior Assistant positions account for five vacancies, while Supervisor and Health Inspector posts carry four vacancies each.
NIMS has clarified that these appointments are purely contractual and are intended to support the functioning of TIMS, Sanath Nagar until regular recruitment procedures are completed.
