Six Arrested in Junaid Murder Case in Rein Bazar, Says South Zone DCP

Hyderabad: 10 December Posted on 2:37 PM South Zone police announced the arrest of six suspects in the murder of Junaid bin Mohammed during a press briefing addressed by DCP Khare Kiran Prabhakar on Wednesday. Investigators have identified twelve accused in total. Six are in custody and six are on the run. Junaid was stabbed to death near Yakutpura on December 10. He suffered multiple injuries and died at the scene. According to the DCP Khare Kiran Prabhakar, the murder was planned by Umar bin Hamza Al Jabri and Ali bin Hamza Al Jabri. Telangana Government Approves Rs 1000 Crore for Osmania University Development

The Higher Education Department issued the order on 9 December 2025. Osmania University will use the funds to improve facilities, create new infrastructure within the campus and upgrade existing structures. Mohammed Nooruddin Hyderabad police seized 1,600 vehicles during a late-night inspection drive under Operation Kavach. From December 1 to December 4, alcohol worth nearly ₹600 crore was sold across the state, according to Excise department officials. Sales during these four days crossed 578.86 crore rupees. South Central Railway changes Vande Bharat schedules, adds new weekly service

The goal is better maintenance and on time performance. Under the new plan, the Kachiguda – Yeshwantpur – Kachiguda Vande Bharat Express (20703/20704) will not run on Fridays. Earlier this train did not run on Wednesdays. The Secunderabad – Visakhapatnam – Secunderabad Vande Bharat Express (20707/20708) will not run on Mondays. Earlier this train did not run on Thursdays.
