Congress Likely to Win Jubilee Hills Bypoll, Say Exit Polls

Hyderabad, Nov 12: Exit polls suggest that the ruling Congress Party is leading in the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election, according to multiple survey agencies. According to Chanakya Strategies, Congress is projected to secure 46% of the vote share, compared to 43% for Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and 6% for BJP. Naseer Giyas Hyderabad, Nov 3: A major road tragedy struck Telangana on Monday when a speeding tipper truck collided head-on with a passenger bus near Khanapur stage in Chevella mandal, Ranga Reddy district. According to police reports, the accident occurred on a sharp curve of the Hyderabad–Bijapur highway. The tipper, carrying gravel, rammed into a Tandur depot bus traveling toward Hyderabad. The impact was so severe that the gravel poured into the bus, crushing passengers. At least 20 people, including 11 women, nine men, and a one-year-old girl, were killed instantly.
