Hyderabad: A Uppal Woman Gives Birth Inside 108 Ambulance on way to Gandhi Hospital on Friday. According to Ambulance staff there were relief when they seen she delivered a baby boy inside a 108 emergency ambulance while she was being taken to Hospital. Doctors later said that both the mother and baby were safe.
According to the Doctors of Gandhi Hospital, Reesha Parveen a resident of Bharat Nagar developed labour pains on Friday. Her family immediately contacted the 108 emergency ambulance service seeking medical assistance. After receiving the emergency call, Emergency Medical Technician Nagaraju and ambulance pilot Naveen reached the woman’s location without delay.
The ambulance team began transporting Reesha Parveen to Gandhi Hospital for further medical care. However, while the ambulance was on its way, her labour pains reportedly became more intense. With the delivery imminent, the medical team assisted the woman inside the ambulance itself. She subsequently gave birth to a baby boy while the ambulance was still en route to the hospital.
Following the delivery, both the mother and the newborn were taken to Gandhi Hospital. They were admitted for further medical observation and care. Doctors at the hospital reportedly said that both Reesha Parveen and her newborn son were doing well.
The family members expressed their appreciation to the 108 ambulance personnel for reaching the location promptly and providing assistance during the emergency.
According to Health and Medical Department Govertment of Telangana approximately 455 state-run 108 emergency ambulances are currently operational across Telangana. A dedicated number of these ambulances are strategically deployed across Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts to respond to emergency calls around the clock, with operations centrally coordinated.
