Acts of timely assistance by Hyderabad police personnel helped two NEET aspirants reach their examination centres on time, preventing what could have been a devastating loss of an academic year. The incidents occurred during the NEET examination in Hyderabad and have drawn appreciation for the prompt response shown by police officers on duty.
In the first incident, a NEET aspirant mistakenly arrived at the wrong examination centre within the Osmania University police limits. The student reportedly became anxious after realizing the mistake, while her parents did not have a vehicle to immediately take her to the correct location.
Seeing the student’s distress, the Inspector of Osmania University Police Station intervened and provided transportation in his official vehicle. The officer ensured that the student reached her designated examination centre before the examination commenced.
In another incident, Syed Mohammed Hassan Hashmi from Hyderabad mistakenly arrived at Kendriya Vidyalaya in Trimulgherry instead of his allotted centre at Kendriya Vidyalaya in Bolarum. The realization caused panic and anxiety for both the student and his father, as they feared that arriving late could result in the loss of an entire academic year.
At that crucial moment, Constable Madan from the Trimulgherry Police Station stepped in to assist the family. The police constable escorted the student and his father to the correct examination centre and ensured that they reached the venue before the examination began.
The student’s father reportedly expressed gratitude and appreciation for the timely assistance provided by the police officer.
