Gold and silver prices in India witnessed fresh movement on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, as international developments continued to influence the bullion market. After showing signs of decline in recent weeks, gold prices have once again edged higher, creating concerns among consumers and investors.

Market analysts state that precious metal prices fluctuate regularly due to international economic and geopolitical developments. Recent tensions involving Iran, the United States, and other global conflicts have pushed gold and silver prices to elevated levels.

According to market rates available until 6:00 AM on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, the price of 24-carat gold increased by ₹10 per 10 grams to reach ₹1,46,520.

Similarly, 22-carat gold prices also rose by ₹10, taking the rate to ₹1,34,310 per 10 grams.

Silver prices, however, recorded a slight decline. The price of silver fell by ₹100 per kilogram and stood at ₹2,49,900 in several markets across the country.

In Hyderabad, the price of 24-carat gold remained at ₹1,46,520 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at ₹1,34,310. Silver in the city was trading at ₹2,54,900 per kilogram.

The same gold rates were observed in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam, where 24-carat gold stood at ₹1,46,520 and 22-carat gold at ₹1,34,310. Silver prices in both cities were recorded at ₹2,54,900 per kilogram.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold was priced slightly higher at ₹1,46,670 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at ₹1,34,460. Silver prices in the national capital remained at ₹2,49,900 per kilogram.

Mumbai also reported 24-carat gold at ₹1,46,520 and 22-carat gold at ₹1,34,310. Silver prices there were recorded at ₹2,49,900 per kilogram.

Chennai witnessed comparatively higher gold prices. The city recorded 24-carat gold at ₹1,48,360 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹1,35,990. Silver prices stood at ₹2,54,900 per kilogram.

In Bengaluru, 24-carat gold was priced at ₹1,46,520, while 22-carat gold stood at ₹1,34,310. Silver was trading at ₹2,49,900 per kilogram.

Experts point out that gold and silver prices are not identical across all cities. Local demand, supply conditions, transportation costs, and state taxes play a significant role in determining retail prices.
