The Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation election results point to a fractured mandate, with the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) consolidating its position and emerged as king maker, even as the Bharatiya Janata Party tops the tally without securing a clear majority.

The civic poll outcome in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar reflects a sharply divided political landscape. As per the latest trends from all 115 wards, the BJP has emerged as the single largest party with 22 seats, but remains well short of the majority mark.

The Shiv Sena is close behind with 19 seats, keeping the race highly competitive. Significantly, the AIMIM has strengthened its footprint by winning 14 seats, underscoring its growing influence and positioning itself as a potential kingmaker in the municipal corporation.

The Shiv Sena (UBT) has secured 10 seats, reflecting a diminished yet relevant presence. The Indian National Congress and the Nationalist Congress Party have won two seats each, while the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar faction) has secured one seat. One ward has gone to other candidates.

With no party anywhere near a clear majority, the numbers indicate that post-poll negotiations and alliance-building will be crucial in determining the next civic administration.
