Hyderabad, June 17: Electric vehicle giant Tesla has officially opened its first Experience Centre in Telangana, bringing its premium electric vehicle lineup to Hyderabad. The new facility, inaugurated on Wednesday, is located at Sattva Knowledge City in HITEC City, Madhapur, making it Tesla’s fifth Experience Centre in India after Mumbai, Delhi, Gurugram, and Bengaluru.
The new showroom is situated on the Ground Floor, Unit 3, Octave Block, Sattva Knowledge City, Gate No. 6, HITEC City. The centre will serve as a hub where customers can explore Tesla’s latest electric vehicles, experience the brand’s technology ecosystem, and interact with Tesla Advisors through guided demonstrations.
Visitors can examine two flagship models currently showcased at the centre:
- 2026 Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive (5-seater), priced from ₹50.89 lakh, offering a claimed range of up to 500 km and acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds.
- Model Y L (6-seater, three-row configuration), priced from ₹61.99 lakh, with a claimed range of up to 681 km and a 0-100 km/h time of 5.0 seconds.
Customers can place orders through Tesla’s website and mobile application, with deliveries expected to begin in July 2026.
In addition to the Experience Centre, Tesla has launched a delivery and after-sales support facility in Bollaram Industrial Area on the outskirts of Hyderabad. While the HITEC City outlet currently focuses on vehicle display and customer engagement, after-sales services will be managed through the Bollaram facility, supported by Tesla’s mobile service operations.
The opening of the Hyderabad centre represents a significant milestone for Telangana’s growing electric mobility ecosystem. Industry observers believe Tesla’s arrival will boost interest in premium electric vehicles and accelerate the development of charging infrastructure in the city. The company has also indicated plans to expand its Supercharger network across Hyderabad and other major Indian cities in the coming years.
With Hyderabad emerging as one of India’s leading technology and innovation hubs, Tesla’s entry into the Telangana market is expected to strengthen the city’s position as a destination for advanced mobility and sustainable transportation solutions.
