Telangana CM Sends Chadar to Ajmer Sharif Dargah

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy sent a ceremonial chadar to the Ajmer Sharif Dargah on behalf of the Telangana State Government in view of the Dargah’s annual Urs.

The offering symbolised prayers for peace, harmony, and the welfare of people across Telangana. The Chief Minister conveyed the collective sentiments of the state while paying respects at the historic shrine.

Minority Welfare Minister Mohammed Azharuddin and Energy Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy were present during the ceremony. Government Advisors Moahmmed Shabbir Ali and Vem Narender Reddy also participated.

Member of Parliament Balaram Naik, several MLAs, TMREIS Vice Chairman Faheem Qureshi, Telangana Haj Committee Chairman Moulana Afzal Biyabani Khusro Pasha, Waqf Board Chairman Syed Azmathullah Husseini, and Minority Finance Corporation Chairman Obedullah Kotwal attended the event. Muslim minority leaders from different parts of Telangana were also present.

Minority Welfare Minister Mohammed Azharuddin said the state government remains committed to inclusive governance and respect for India’s plural traditions. He said Telangana continues to uphold constitutional values and interfaith harmony.

Later, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, along with Ministers, MPs, and MLAs, participated in the official Christmas dinner held at LB Stadium. The Chief Minister extended greetings to the Christian community in the state and prayed for prosperity, peace, and happiness for all sections of society.
