Salary Crisis Hits Telangana Wakf Board as Chairman and CEO Clash
Hyderabad, 25 November: A serious conflict between the Telangana Wakf Board Chairman and the CEO has delayed the salaries of nearly 300 employees. Internal disagreements have blocked key decisions and created an administrative deadlock.
Board officials said the dispute between the Chairman and the CEO has continued since the beginning of their tenure. The Board has not held a meeting for several months. The CEO was transferred earlier on court orders, but the government later reinstated him. Before the transfer, the Chairman and some members met the then Minister for Minority Welfare A Laxman Kumar and requested the CEO’s transfer.
