A tragic road accident near Shamshabad on the outskirts of Hyderabad has claimed the lives of six people after a speeding car rammed into a stationary lorry. The incident occurred near Peddagolkonda, close to Outer Ring Road (ORR) Exit 16.
According to initial reports, the car was traveling from Peddagolkonda towards Shamshabad when it crashed into a parked lorry from behind. The impact was so severe that the front portion of the car was completely crushed.
Authorities confirmed that six persons traveling in the car died on the spot due to the intensity of the collision. Another individual sustained critical injuries and was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment.
Rescue operations were challenging as the victims were trapped inside the mangled vehicle. Emergency teams worked for an extended period to extract the bodies from the wreckage.
Preliminary findings suggest that over-speeding may have been a key factor in the accident. Officials indicated that the lorry was parked on the side, possibly within a designated area, but the speeding vehicle failed to slow down in time.
According to police victims are belong to Sircilla District. The vehicle is reportedly registered under the name Bolla Shivakumar, and further investigation is underway.
