Hyderabad Police Seize 1,600 Vehicles in Citywide Night Operation

Mohammed Nooruddin Hyderabad police seized 1,600 vehicles during a late-night inspection drive under Operation Kavach. Police checked around 15,000 vehicles across 150 locations from 10:30 PM to 1:00 AM. The drive involved 5,000 personnel focusing on strict enforcement of law and order and public safety. Hyderabad City Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar supervised the inspections on the ground in Tolichowki and Gulzar Houz. Bowenpally Police Seize ₹4.05 Crore Hawala Cash, Two Accused Detained

The suspects are also linked to a ₹50-lakh cash–RTGS fraud reported in August 2024. The operation was carried out based on credible intelligence, following which a Hyundai Creta (MH 49 CL **96) was intercepted within the Addakal Police Station limits. Police identified the accused as Prakash Motibhai Prajapathi (30) and Pragnesh Keerthibai Prajapathi (28), both are the native of Gujarat.
