Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will depart for Davos, Switzerland, on January 19 along with a high-level delegation to attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting. The visit is aimed at exploring global investment opportunities for Telangana and strengthening the state’s international economic engagement.
During the six-day tour, the Chief Minister is scheduled to hold a series of meetings with global business leaders, investors, and policymakers. These interactions are expected to focus on promoting Telangana as an emerging investment destination in India.
As part of the WEF engagement, Revanth Reddy will address the Global Corn Club, a prominent forum attended by influential global stakeholders. The state government believes this interaction will help project Telangana’s economic vision to a wider international audience.
A dedicated Telangana Pavilion will be set up in Davos during the forum. The pavilion will highlight the state’s industrial strengths, infrastructure capabilities, and policy support while identifying key sectors open for foreign investment.
On the sidelines of the Telangana Rising Global Summit, the government will present the Telangana Rising 2047 Vision Document. This long-term development roadmap outlines the state’s growth strategy over the next two decades and will be showcased to international industrialists.
The Information Technology and Industries Department is making special efforts to promote the vision document at the global level, positioning Telangana as a future-ready investment hub.
Following the Davos visit, the Chief Minister is expected to travel to the United States. During the US tour, he will meet representatives from IT, manufacturing, green energy, data centre, and logistics companies, inviting them to explore investment opportunities in Telangana across strategic and emerging sectors.
