The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) has emerged as a key winner in the Nanded Municipal Corporation elections held in Maharashtra, reaffirming its political influence in the region.

According to the results, AIMIM secured decisive victories in Prabhag 11 and Prabhag 13, where all four seats in each ward were won by party candidates. The party also successfully converted all its leads in other wards into wins.

In Prabhag 11, the elected representatives include Mohammed Masood Ahmed Khan, Aasiya Begum Abdul Habeeb Bagwan, Syed Fasiuddin Syed Waliuddin, and Sayma Khan Mohammed Imran Khan. Meanwhile, Prabhag 13 saw the victory of Abdul Latif Abdul Majid, Ashvini Dashrath Dhongde, Syed Mujeeb Syed Mukhtar, and Maryam Saniya Abdul Rauf.

AIMIM further claimed victories in additional wards where it was leading, including three seats in Prabhag 14, one seat in Prabhag 15, and two seats in Prabhag 12. With these results, the party stated that its overall tally stands at 16 seats.

Party leaders attributed this mandate to the leadership of AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi and the coordinated efforts of the Nanded unit, including local leadership and grassroots workers. Supporters described the results as a reflection of public trust in the party’s vision and governance approach.

The victory has reinforced Nanded’s reputation as a stronghold of AIMIM politics in Maharashtra. Party representatives expressed confidence that the elected members would work with commitment and integrity to address civic issues in the city.

AIMIM supporters celebrated the outcome, stating that the party would continue to serve the people of Nanded with honesty, strength, and dedication.

The Nationalist Congress Party led by Ajit Pawar also registered a presence in the civic body by winning 2 seats, reflecting a fragmented but decisive mandate in the final results.
