Hyderabad, Nov 12: Exit polls suggest that the ruling Congress Party is leading in the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election, according to multiple survey agencies.
According to Chanakya Strategies, Congress is projected to secure 46% of the vote share, compared to 43% for Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and 6% for BJP. The HMR Survey gave Congress 48.3%, while BRS trailed at 43.18%.
The Smart Poll found a similar trend with Congress at 48.2% and BRS at 42.1%. The Naganna Survey and Aara Mastan surveys also placed Congress ahead with nearly 47% of the vote.
Only the Mission Chanakya survey suggested a narrow BRS edge, predicting 41.6% for BRS and 39.4% for Congress.
If the predictions hold true, the Jubilee Hills bypoll could mark another significant win for the Congress in Hyderabad’s urban belt.
