Construction Begins on ₹1,550 Crore Elevated Corridor in Hyderabad
HYDERABAD – Work has officially started on a 5.4 km elevated corridor designed to ease traffic congestion between Secunderabad and Dairy Farm Bowenpally. The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has commenced preliminary activities, including soil testing and land assessment, to prepare for the construction of the main pillars.HMDA officials have confirmed that these initial preparations are expected to take about three months. Following this, the construction of pillars will begin, with a target to complete the entire project within two years.The corridor, estimated to cost ₹652 crore for construction alone, will originate at Paradise Junction and run through Secunderabad, Tadbund, and Boinapally before concluding at Dairy Farm.
