In the latest Bihar election trends, only 12 Muslim candidates are leading, marking one of the lowest representation levels in the state, reportedly falling below five percent.
According to preliminary results, Muslim representation in the Bihar Legislative Assembly has seen a significant drop. Out of all constituencies, only 12 Muslim candidates have emerged in leading positions.
The party-wise breakup shows five from AIMIM, four from RJD, two from the Congress, and one from the JDU. Compared to previous elections, this is believed to be the lowest number of Muslim MLAs since the beginning of electoral politics in the state.
