Nara Lokesh Inaugurates Noor Masjid in Mangalagiri, Stresses Humanity and Youth Responsibility

Mangalagiri, 27 November: Andhra Pradesh Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh who is also son of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the newly built Noor Masjid at RTC Depot Pigeon Valley in Mangalagiri on Wednesday. The event drew community leaders, local residents, and several officials from the region. The Minister offered special prayers inside the mosque and received a Telugu translation of the Quran as a gift from the organisers.

During his address, Lokesh said religion must never overshadow humanity. He urged young people to focus on discipline, hard work, and long-term opportunities. He told the gathering that support for those facing hardship is a shared duty.

Lokesh said he received the responsibility to serve the people of Mangalagiri and added that he is working within the scope of resources available to him. He also mentioned that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu holds a similar responsibility toward the state.

Lokesh said poverty still affects many families. He added that community members hold the responsibility to help people rise from difficult situations. He encouraged youth to focus on education and skill-building to secure future opportunities.

Lokesh shared that he faced criticism in 2019 but continued his work with discipline. He stated that consistent effort helped him progress through setbacks and that every individual has the strength to overcome challenges.

Call for Ethical Values and Social Harmony

Lokesh said the country needs stronger ethical values to build a healthier society. He stressed respectful treatment of women and highlighted the need for peaceful behavior in daily interactions.

He said attempts are often made to create divisions among people and urged the public to remain calm. Lokesh added that recognition from the public strengthens his resolve to support every family in the region. He invited citizens to work together for the progress of the state and the nation.

Lokesh also referred to national development goals aimed for 2047. He said India requires a collective effort to meet those targets and encouraged youth to play an active role in this direction.

Several officials and public representatives attended the inauguration, including, Padmashali Welfare and Development Corporation Chairman Nandam Abaddayya, APMIDC Chairman Chillapalli Srinivas Rao, TTD Board Member Tammishetti Janakidevi, Guntur Member of Parliament and TDP General Secretary Potineni Srinivas Rao, Haji Sheikh Nagul Meera, Mosque Founder President Sheikh Mohammad Ali, Masjid Committee members Sheikh Mohammad Jani, Mohammad Firoz, Sheikh Saughat Ali, Shahid Ali, Jafar, Nazir, Asif, Abdullah Kutty, Local TDP leaders and community members.
