Hyderabad, 26 November: Cricketer Mohammed Siraj criticised Air India after his flight from Guwahati to Hyderabad faced a long delay with no clear information from the airline. Flight IX 2884 was scheduled to depart at 7.25 pm. Passengers waited for hours with no proper updates.
Siraj said on the social media platform X that airline failed to inform passengers about the reason for the delay. He said the lack of communication caused frustration among everyone on board. According to his statement, the flight was delayed by four hours and passengers had no clarity on the new departure time.
Siraj described the experience as his worst with the airline. He urged passengers to stay alert while booking this service due to the poor response from the airline.
